Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Lead Host / Hostess to join the Food and Beverage Team in Park City !
With 150 rooms, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, this award-winning Forbes 4-Star boutique property offers elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions from around the world. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, seasonal pool restaurant, and in-room dining.
· Classification: Full-Time

What will I be doing?
As a Restaurant Lead Host/Hostess, you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
· Seat guests and manage the seating chart
· Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
· Perform opening and closing duties, as needed
· Receive, record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant/outlets.
· Conduct daily "roll call meetings" to keep staff informed of current promotions, daily specials, guest comments, daily events and pertinent memos.
· Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
· Ensure knowledge of menu
· Read, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management
· Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
· Maintain proper set-up of dining room and enforce uniform and grooming standards of all service personnel on a daily basis. Assign stations to service staff.
· Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
