This is a Part-Time role.
Wage Rate: $21.00/per hour
What will I be doing?
· As a Laundry Attendant, you would be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel on a daily basis.
· Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers, and chutes), ironing, folding, storing, and delivering.
· Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry machinery and laundry area.
· Maintain stock levels of laundry, and notify the manager when supplies are low
· Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
· Perform additional laundry services, as needed, such as room cleaning, deliveries to guest rooms upon request, and houseperson duties
What are we looking for?
· Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
· Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
· Must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team environment.
· Must be able to work independently and maintain a steady workflow without supervision.
· Ability to lift and carry laundry loads of up to 50 lbs.
