Hilton Stockholm Slussen is now looking for an à la carte qualified chef to join our kitchen team. You will join an international organisation with the possibility of an international career. In addition to the 289 guest rooms and large meeting & event facilities, we operate a bar and restaurants.

As an à la carte chef at Hilton Stockholm Slussen you will be part of our Eken restaurant team, cooking Nordic and European influenced cuisine with a strong focus on showcasing quality Swedish produce. You will work with both Swedish classical dishes and a variety of international food cultures for our guests. ·  Working confidently both independently and as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
·  Communicating openly and respectfully with colleagues across departments, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace.
·  Upholding hotel security, fire regulations, and all health, safety, and food safety legislation at all times.

Qualifications – What We Are Looking For

·  A culinary education, such as culinary school or Hotel & Restaurant training with a focus on the kitchen, or equivalent documented education or hands-on experience.
·  At least 2 years of experience as a chef, with a strong background in à la carte cooking. Experience within a hotel or larger restaurant environment is an advantage.
·  Ability to communicate confidently in English, with conversational Swedish skills.
·  Flexibility and willingness to work a varied schedule, including daytime and evening shifts as well as weekends.
·  This is a full-time position, with an initial six-month probationary period. Employment terms are governed by the local collective agreement between VISITA and HRF.
