Guest Operations Manager (local hire only)

Job description

The Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi Riverview (17 Ialbuzi Street) is now looking for Guest Operations Manager.

As the Guest Operations Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· 
Actively support the commercial strategy of the hotel by ensuring that all team members are well trained and focused on delivering exceptional experiences and upselling at every possible opportunity.

· 
Conduct routine inspections of areas of the hotel under your responsibility to ensure compliance with standards with a guest focused mindset.

· 
Achieve the planned operational profit margins in both Food & Beverage and Rooms

· 
Ensure that costs are controlled in a detailed and structured manner, analysing costs on a monthly basis and prepare action plans (Cost per occupied room, beverage costs; payroll including overtime; other expenses; other outsource labour or services).

· 
Ensure that all labour costs are flexed according to levels of demand / activity / season and that opportunities for a better balance between quality and cost through clustering and / or outsourcing are explored fully.

· 
Jointly develop and maintain the closest possible understanding of revenue (in rate, volume or banqueting) to ensure the greatest level of alignment between revenue and cost.

· 
Ensure that the best quality is delivered, purchasing from the most competitively priced suppliers who deliver the highest levels of quality.

· 
Manage all direct reports (Housekeeping, Front Office, F&B Service) in a positive way ensuring these leaders remain motivated and engaged.

· 
Ensure the team members within guest operations are well managed with clear objectives, are well trained and that they are deployed in the most productive way.

A Guest Operations Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

·  A passion for the hospitality industry with a demonstrated eagerness to exceed guest expectations.
·  College degree or equivalent in hotel or tourism management.
·  Previous experience as a Front Office Manager or Rooms Division Manager in a 4 or 5-star property.
·  Excellent and fluent command of English & Georgian, both written and spoken to meet business needs.
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and POS systems (Micros) with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required
·  Resourceful, creative and able to maintain flexibility.
·  Strong commercial acumen, with experience in Food and Beverage / Front Office management.
·  Culturally aware and flexible.
·  Georgian and English proficiency in verbal and written communication

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

·  Previous experience as a Duty Manager
·  Previous experience at Supervisory level
