What will you be doing?  

As Groups & Reservations Executive, you will oversee the Reservations Team to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction and work with the Reservations Team & Commercial Director to develop future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for: 

·  Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Reservations Department
·   Manage telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
·  Understand seasonal and historical trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates
·  Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue with a focus on Groups
·  Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
·  Ensure Team Members are developed effectively, and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building and customer service, 

What are we looking for?  

·  Previous experience in the Reservations/Sales function within the hotel/leisure sector preferably in a Supervisor or Team Leader role
· 
Having a qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or another similar field is advantageous

·  Strong influencing and communication skills and an ability to handle a variety of clients
·  A passion for guest service and hotels
·  Ability to apply good judgement & work to strict deadlines
·  Excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills including knowledge of inventory management
·  Proven sales skills and ability to develop relationships
·  Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail  
·  A highly professional, confident telephone manner  
·  Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest  
·  Computer literate and able to navigate through Company systems
