Hilton The Hague is looking for a Cluster Groups, Conference & Event Planning Coördinator!

Are you the hands-on and detailed oriented Event Planner that would like to reinforce our Cluster Group, Conference & Events team? Then Hilton The Hague is looking for your talent! 

For our Cluster Group, Conference & Events department we are looking for a detailed oriented and hands-on Event Planner with superb communication skills. As Cluster Group, Conference & Planning Coördinator, you report to the Cluster Commercial Director, Cluster Groups,Conference & Events Manager, Cluster Groups, Conference & Events Assistant Manager en Cluster Groups, Conference & Events Supervisor.

As a Cluster Groups, Conference & Events planning coördinator, you are involved in;

·  Handling the event planning process afte rit has been confirmed by the Cluster Group Conference & Events selling team.
·  You are responsible for the communication and active follow-up with the guest.
·  You ensure a smooth execution of the events.
·  Create upsell opportunities to maximaze revenu and added value of the booking.
·  Facilitate appointment and site inspections with the guests if needed.
·  Ensure clear and detailed communication with the involved departments.
·  Creating and sending the Banquet Event Orders and required reports.
·  Participate pro-active in selling activities such as Bring Back old Business, key prospects, Sales Blitz Days, etc.
·  Checking if invoices are correct and ensuring that they have been settled by the guest on time.
·  Consistently updating the information in the system.
·  Conduct after sales conversation in order to get feedback on the event experience of the client and identify future business potential
·  If needed support Hilton Rotterdam or DoubleTree by Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen

For the position Cluster Groups, Conference & Events planning coördinator we are looking for;

·  You are available on a fulltime base.
·  You enjoy supporting the operational departments in the implementation of events if necessary.
·  You have a commercial mindset with strong sales, administrative and organizational capabilities.
·  You have a positive mindset and strong communication skills.
·  You are committed to providing high-level service.
·  You speak fluent English, Dutch is an advantage.
