Are you passionate about sharing the beauty of Sedona with visitors? We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Gift Shop Clerk to join our team!
This would be a part-time position with the flexibility to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday but may change based on business needs.
Gift Shop Clerk is responsible for assisting guests and selling merchandise in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
· Provide exceptional customer service, helping guests find the perfect souvenirs and gifts.
· Curate a delightful shopping experience by keeping the shop organized and inviting.
· Share your knowledge of local products and attractions to enhance our guests’ visits.
· Handle transactions and assist with inventory management
· A positive attitude and a love for people
· Strong communication skills and a knack for making connections.
· Previous retail experience is a plus, but a passion for hospitality is essential!
What will I be doing?
As a Gift Shop Clerk, you would be responsible for assisting guests and selling merchandise in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival in the shop
· Demonstrate knowledge of merchandise, styling and pricing
· Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards
· Wrap merchandise and pack orders for shipping
· Assist in conducting inventory and ensure adequate merchandise supply levels
· Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner What are we looking for?
