Job Requirements

The General Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Canopy by Hilton, Warsaw. They are also responsible for the financial results, brand execution, quality management and overall administration and direction of the Property. They will work with both TFG Hotels and Hilton Hotel  Group to develop and execute strategic plans. They will also work with Tifco Hotel Group to ensure the successful opening of the Hotel. The General Manager must harmonize the culture, mission, values, and quality standards to ensure maximum potential is achieved. They will need to create an exceptional climate of professional and personable service that ensures the engagement of employees, guests, and owners.

Work Experience

Person Specification – General Manager

Job Title: General Manager

Reports to: CEO of TFG Hotels and Investors

Qualifications:

·  University or Hotel School Degree/Qualification
·  Additional leadership or hospitality management qualifications (desirable)

Experience:

·  Proven experience as General Manager in a high-quality hotel 4/5-star hotel for a minimum of 3 years
·  Experience in the opening of a new hotel
·  Proven track record of leading, motivating and developing teams
·  Strong understanding the finance function, P&L, Cost Management, Capex etc.
·  Experience working with and supporting the sales function and direct involvement in client engagement and sales

Skills & Abilities:

·  Excellent culinary skills across a wide range of cuisines
·  Strong leadership, motivation, and team management abilities
·  Ability to inspire creativity and innovation in menu design
·  High level of organisation and time management skills
·  Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety legislation
·  Financially astute, with strong budgeting and forecasting skills

Personal Qualities:

·  Passionate about delivering high standards of food and service
·  Calm under pressure and able to multitask
·  Strong attention to detail
·  Flexible, proactive, and adaptable
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
