The Hampton Inn State College is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead our team in the heart of Happy Valley. From Penn State football weekends and graduation celebrations to business travelers and family getaways, no two days are ever the same here — and that’s exactly what makes it fun.

This is not a “sit behind the desk” leadership role. We’re looking for someone who loves operations, motivates teams, drives revenue, solves problems, celebrates wins, and creates an atmosphere where both guests and employees genuinely enjoy being here.

What You’ll Be Doing

·  Leading daily hotel operations with energy and positivity
·  Building, coaching, and developing an outstanding team culture
·  Driving guest satisfaction and online review scores
·  Managing revenue, payroll, expenses, and profitability
·  Ensuring Hilton brand standards are consistently exceeded
·  Creating memorable guest experiences during Penn State events and busy weekends
·  Working closely with sales, housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk teams
·  Bringing ideas, creativity, and leadership to the table every day

What We’re Looking For

·  Previous hotel leadership experience (GM or AGM preferred)
·  Hilton experience is a plus
·  Strong operational and financial knowledge
·  A leader who enjoys mentoring and motivating people
·  Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
·  Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
·  A positive attitude and team-first mentality
