Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

·  Oversee all hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experience
·  Manage property performance to meet Hilton brand standards and guest satisfaction metrics
·  Ensure that all licenses and safety inspections such as sprinkler testing, fire alarm inspections etc. are current
·  Perform regular walkthroughs to inspect cleanliness, safety, and functionality
·  Able to drive to purchase supplies

Team Leadership

·  Lead, train, and coach department heads and hourly associates
·  Create a positive and accountable workplace culture
·  Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and staffing needs across all departments

Financial Management

·  Oversee hotel P&L and ensure achievement of revenue and expense goals
·  Analyze labor costs and operational expenses to maximize profitability
·  Collaborate with revenue management for rate strategies and market positioning

Sales, Marketing & Community Engagement

·  Build relationships with local businesses, chamber groups, and corporate clients
·  Leverage Hilton sales tools and Hilton Honors to drive loyalty and bookings

Safety & Compliance

·  Ensure safety standards, emergency procedures, and compliance with OSHA and ADA
·  Enforce policies related to property security, cleanliness, and guest/staff well-being
·  Serve as point of contact for emergencies and lead property-level crisis response

Work Experience

Qualifications

·  3+ years as a Hotel General Manager or Assistant GM (limited/select service experience preferred)
·  Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
·  Familiarity with Hilton systems (PEP and ONQ R&I strongly preferred)
·  Proven track record in team leadership, guest service, and financial performance
·  Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
·  Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
·  Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills
·  Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
·  Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the hotel (lobby, guest rooms, mechanical areas, etc.)
·  Ability to lift, carry, and transport items up to 25–30 lbs (e.g., supplies, small equipment)
·  Must be able to move freely throughout all hotel areas, including stairwells, laundry rooms, and exterior grounds

 

Physical Demands

·  Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
·  Ability to inspect rooms, facilities, and mechanical areas that may require accessing tight or elevated spaces
·  Regular use of hands and fingers to operate computers, phones, and office equipment
·  Must be able to visually assess property conditions and detect safety risks or maintenance issues
·  Ability to respond quickly and physically in emergency situations, including fire alarms, power outages, or guest incidents

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position regularly requires extended hours as business dictates, must be able to work weekends and holidays.

 

Travel

Requires travel every two years to attend Hampton General Manager Conference

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the country.

Benefits

Compensation/Benefits:

We offer a competitive base salary of $67,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience) plus robust performance-based bonus structure. Our bonus program is designed to reward strong leadership and hotel performance, with incentives tied to key metrics such as:

·  Occupancy and RevPAR growth
·  Guest satisfaction scores and brand standards compliance
·  Staff development and retention
