The Property

Are you an accomplished hotel General Manager with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences? Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers is seeking a dynamic and dedicated leader to take the helm as Hotel General Manager, driving excellence and ensuring the seamless operation of our prestigious property.

Situated just 23 miles from Abu Dhabi International Airport, this iconic Conrad property stands in the heart of the UAE, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline and coastline. You'll oversee our luxury gem, which features 576 exquisite guest rooms, a range of world-class amenities, including a private beach, outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness suite, and a renowned spa. Guests can indulge in our 12 award-winning restaurants, making every stay unforgettable.

The Role

As the General Manager, you will lead the hotel and its management team, delivering exceptional experiences for both guests and team members. Your focus will be on maximizing profitability, upholding our brand standards, and consistently exceeding our owners' expectations.

What will you be doing?

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

·  Manage and lead hotel operation.
·  Manage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue, guest satisfaction and Team Member engagement goals are met and exceeded.
·  Lead the F&B strategy and managing multiple branded F&B partners.
·  Host networking events and represent the owners at public events.
·  Lead in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment.
·  Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel  and Hilton.
·  Deliver achievable hotel budgets, and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the property.
·  Provide exceptional leadership to hotel Team Members focusing on Hilton culture and values.
·  Lead in all aspects of business planning.
·  Comply with and exceed Hilton Brand Service Standards.
·  Ensure costs are controlled.
·  Manage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within Hilton.
·  Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team.
·  Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills with a strong focus on Owner relations, Commercial and Operations (including F&B), guest experience and Team Member engagement. Enthusiastic and passionate, you will have current experience as a General Manager within a luxury property.

A General Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

·  An established luxury GM ideally with Hilton/International brand experience.
·  Experienced in UAE markets, local Abu Dhabi market knowledge preferred.
·  Deliver innovative commercial opportunities with experience in increasing profitability, in particular F&B.
·  Meticulous attention will be crucial.
·  Demonstrable ability to collaborate and foster networks and relationships, with owners, contractors, corporates and local community – must be highly visible.
·  Capability to assume responsibility and confidently lead hotel owners.
·  Strong operational knowledge from a people/leadership perspective - the GM needs to be "present" and lead from the front and cultivate future talent.
·  Deliver innovative commercial opportunities with experience in increasing profitability.
·  Exceptional people leadership and retention of talent with the ability to bring a team together on a journey and instilling the Hilton culture and values.
·  Ability to show resilience, judgement and leadership.
·  Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar sized property.
·  In-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector.
·  Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
·  English language is mandatory.
