Job description
Join our team at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island as a General Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent service to our guests and internal customers.
Responsibilities:
· Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including payments, refunds, and petty cash disbursements.
· Reconcile daily cash receipts and prepare bank deposits in accordance with company procedures.
· Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
· Assist with cashier training and provide support to other departments as needed.
· Provide exceptional customer service internal customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in cashiering or accounting roles preferred.
· Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles.
