Job description
Capital Hilton is searching for a talented Food & Beverage Manager to help lead their outlets and banquets teams! Located just blocks from the capital's best attractions, this property has 550 rooms, 4 food and beverage outlets, 21 meeting rooms, and over 30,000 square feet of meeting space! The ideal candidate will be an engaging leader with a passion for creating exceptional experiences, the ability to multi-task, and the desire to foster a culture of respect and positivity. Prior food and beverage and banquets leadership experience, strong beverage knowledge, and bartending background is preferred. Prior union experience is a plus.
Pay Range: $78,000-$82,000
Shift Pattern: Full availability is required including weekends and holidays. Typical shift will be from 2PM-Close

What will I be doing?
As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage outlets and banquets to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. This includes but is not limited to:
· Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
· Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
· Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
· Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
