Job description

Hilton Malta Hotel is seeking to recruit a Full-Time Conference and Events Executive to complement the Commercial Department, working mainly on the coordination of residential groups.

The role entails;

  • Logistics and handling of events
  • Liaising with clients/ group organisers to make necessary arrangements for events
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with clients
  • Working with hotel departments to ensure a smooth operation during events
  • Timely organisation and distribution of all administrative documents
  • Carrying out hotel show rounds
  • Seeking opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the team
  • Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
  • Participate in hotel promotional activities

Fluency in both written and spoken English is required whilst good knowledge another language will be considered an asset.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for team members with operational or sales experience. The applicant needs to be a team player who has the ability to work well both with the Commercial team and the Operations team, has the ability to build strong relationship with customers and also be pro-active in finding innovative ways of generating revenue for the hotel. Knowledge of event planning and/or food and beverage is also necessary in order to ensure excellent execution of the events being taken care of.
