Job description

Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is looking for two Communications Operators to join the Front Office team! 757 rooms and suites property, located next to Oriole Park at Camden Yards and connected to Baltimore Convention Center via skywalk.

The ideal candidate will hold comparable experience in Hotel PBX or Front Desk, a passion for customer service and have full availability to work the ever-changing schedule of hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking their next steps in a large hotel operation.

Pay Rate:  $17.88 - $19.87 per hour, +$1.00 per hour for hours worked overnight

Shift Pattern for Regular Opening:   flexibility with schedules, starting at 7AM-3:30PM and 3PM-11:30PM, weekends and holidays availability is required. 

Shift Pattern for Overnight Opening:  starting at 11PM-7:30AM, weekends and holidays availability is required.

What will I be doing?

As a Communications Operator, you would be responsible for answering and responding to internal and external calls in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

·  Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues via telephone in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
·  Provide information and demonstrate knowledge of all hotel facilities and services
·  Respond to emergencies and document and relay comprehensive, accurate information to proper parties in emergency situations
·  Accept and deliver all messages promptly and accurately, utilizing proper grammar and spelling
·  Operate office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, PBX system, fax machine, e-mail, etc.
