Job description

Position Purpose
The Cluster Learning & Development (L&D) Executive supports the delivery, coordination, and administration of all training and development activities within the cluster. This role conducts classroom training, partners with departmental trainers, and supports internship and casual labour programs. The L&D Executive plays a key role in enhancing employee skills, supporting service quality, and helping maintain a strong learning culture across all locations.

Duties & Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Facilitation
•    Deliver classroom training sessions across the cluster, including orientation programs, soft-skill sessions, service training, and other assigned modules.
•    Facilitate technical, behavioural, and communication-related training based on business needs.
•    Ensure training delivery aligns with company standards and learning objectives.
•    Create a positive, engaging learning environment for participants
L&D Operations Support
•    Support all cluster-level L&D operations, including scheduling, logistics, documentation, and reporting.
•    Maintain training calendars, attendance records, materials, and training databases.
•    Assist in conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in coordination with HR and department heads.
•    Help evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback forms, and follow-up actions.
Departmental Trainer Coordination (Point of Responsibility – POR)
•    Act as the key point of contact for all Departmental Trainers across the cluster.
•    Provide guidance, coaching, and support to departmental trainers to ensure training quality.
•    Monitor departmental training activities, including on-the-job training (OJT), SOP refreshers, and skill-based sessions.
•    Ensure consistency of training standards and proper documentation across all departments.
Internship & Casual Labour Management
•    Support and manage the internship program, including coordination with schools/universities, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
•    Assist departments in managing casual labor recruitment, documentation, and training coordination.
•    Ensure compliance with HR and L&D policies for all interns and casual workers.
L&D Reporting & Compliance
•    Prepare periodic L&D reports (training hours, attendance, compliance rates, trainer performance, etc.).
•    Maintain up-to-date learning records and ensure accurate reporting to HR and Operations leaders.
•    Ensure compliance with internal training standards, brand requirements, and audit criteria.

•    1–2 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or HR.
•    Experience in hospitality or service industry is an advantage.
•    Prior experience delivering classroom training is preferred.
•    Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
•    Ability to engage and motivate participants during learning sessions.
•    Good organizational and administrative abilities.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
•    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
•    Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
•    Ability to manage multiple sites and travel when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Hospitality, or related fields.
