During this Internship you are involved in the operation and administration of the Banqueting department. Your main responsibilities is to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will assist the Banquet Manager with scheduling, training and other tasks as well as support the Conference Services Manager. Are you ready for the challenge? Then continue reading!
Main Tasks
In the banqueting department, you are responsible for overseeing the set-up and clean-up of food and beverage during banquet functions. Mainly, you supervise food and beverage service to ensure hospitable service and product quality.
In the operation, you greet and welcome client representative and guests, responding to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Also, you also resolve staff- and customer concerns quickly and efficiently.
Managerial responsibilities*
As a Banqueting Management Trainee you will assist with the planning, organization and execution of all banquet functions including, but not limited to, breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas et cetera. Moreover, you participate in- and lead department meetings.
Skills & Qualifications*
You are this type of person that has a proactive and positive attitude. You presume about your administration and organization skills. As a supervisor, you know how to listen to suggestions of your team, critics, and you like to take initiative.
Customer service is your thing and you are strong at delivering customer heartfelt experiences. Your communication skills are great and you speak English and preferably Dutch.
Rewards *
€800.00 per month as internship allowance. During your shifts you can have extensive options for a free lunch. A uniform is provided by the hotel itself.
