As an Assistant Bar Manager you will be responsible for driving every aspect of this high volume and quality driven Destination Bar.

Duties would include:

·       Ensure the consistent and creative delivery of high quality drinks and service in the bar

·       Develop positive customer relations through proactive interaction with Guests, Team Members, contractors, and suppliers

·       Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of menu items, special promotions, functions and events

·       Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures

·       Conducted training sessions for team members to enhance performance and skill development

A Bar Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

·       Previous, relevant experience as an Assistant Bar Manager, or Bar Manager in a first class property.

·       Excellent communication and leadership skills

·       A creative but business focused approach to the production and execution of high quality drinks and service

·       Ability to build relationships, internal and external, to the hotel and the Company

·       Excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and achieve a demanding yet rewarding vision

·       A current, valid, and relevant trade qualification and an unparalleled beverage knowledge

·       Experience in large volume operation whereby both service and uncompromised quality is at the forefront of your responsibility

·       Experienced in managing and monitoring stock rotation to ensure product freshness and reduce waste
