Job Title: Area Director of Leisure Sales, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Hilton Waikoloa, DoubleTree Alana 

Position Summary:
The Area Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth by overseeing the strategic development and execution of leisure sales initiatives, including FIT (Fully Independent Traveler) and group tour business. This role focuses on cultivating partnerships with wholesale leisure operators and travel advisors, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with current accounts. The Director will also ensure a seamless guest experience by addressing post-stay concerns in collaboration with key stakeholders. Representing the property at industry events, negotiating contracts, and fostering client loyalty are critical components of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Strategic Leadership:
·  Develop and implement a comprehensive leisure sales strategy that aligns with Hilton’s overall business objectives and revenue targets.
·  Identify emerging trends in the leisure travel market and adapt sales strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities.
·  Business Development:
·  Proactively target and secure new business from wholesale leisure operators, travel advisors, and other key industry partners.
·  Create customized sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to attract prospective clients.
·  Proactively solicit new business through networking, prospecting, and referrals.
·  Client Relationship Management:
·  Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, focusing on client retention and satisfaction.
·  Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
·  Manage client communication and maintain regular touchpoints to foster loyalty and long-term partnerships.
·  Sales Execution and Negotiation:
·  Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and Hilton.
·  Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless booking, planning, and execution processes.
·  Close high-value deals while adhering to Hilton policies and maintaining profitability.
·  Property Representation:
·  Represent Hilton at key industry tradeshows, conferences, and community events to promote facilities and services.
·  Host property tours and site inspections for prospective clients, showcasing Hilton’s unique offerings.
·  Organize and participate in client entertainment events to strengthen relationships and showcase Hilton’s commitment to excellence.
·  Performance Tracking and Reporting:
·  Monitor and analyze sales metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to optimize strategies and performance.
·  Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior leadership.
·  Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
·  A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in hospitality sales, with a strong focus on leisure and group markets.
·  Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
·  Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
·  Proficiency in CRM systems, sales software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
·  Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, as required.

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 -$130,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
