Area Director of Hotel Operations

Job description
**This is a remote position and requires travel to multiple states**
Join our Hotel Operations team, supporting a select portfolio of full-service managed hotels across a defined geographic area. Reporting directly to the AVP of Hotel Operations, you’ll drive the financial and operational performance of each property, ensuring a world-class guest experience, operational excellence, and a thriving team environment.
Responsibilities:
· Support hotel General Managers in achieving financial and operational goals, ensuring brand standards and exceptional guest experiences.
· Act as a key liaison between Hilton corporate teams, General Managers, hotel owners, and other stakeholders.
· Prepare and deliver regular reports to the AVP, facilitating clear communication among all stakeholders to promote continuous improvement and ensure timely resolution of issues.
· Conduct property site visits and provide hands-on support to address operational challenges.
· Lead performance management efforts by identifying operational improvements and coordinating with internal teams.
· Deliver coaching, training, and mentorship to hotel leadership teams to elevate performance and maintain a high standard of service.
· Develop and manage relationships with various Hilton departments (Revenue Management, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, etc.) and leverage these partnerships to enhance hotel performance.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 2 years general manager experience.
· Proven financial and operational expertise, including experience in financial analysis, business planning, and owner relations.
· Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating teams to achieve business goals.
· Ability to travel up to 70% within the area.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with multi-unit oversight.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $260,000 / annually depending on experience and geographic location
