Context
John Lobb has been making the finest shoes and boots for gentlemen since 1866. The recent arrival of a new Artistic Director makes it an exciting time to join the company and to be involved in a series of key projects.
The candidate will support the John Lobb EMEI Commercial team (Commercial Director and Sales & Marketing Coordinator) based in the London office.
The EMEI region is managing 5 direct stores (Paris x3, London, Geneva), 4 Concessionaires stores (Dubai, Moscow, Beirut, Roissy CDG Airport), a network of 30 wholesale accounts and 2 e-commerce platforms.
Internship to start early January for a period of 6 months.
Main activities
1. Commercial
- Preparation of monthly quantitative & qualitative sales reports
- Follow-up and consolidation of orders, reorders and deliveries
- Creation, update and sharing of commercial tools (products grids, price mapping, discontinuations etc.)
- Development and follow-up of stock management tools
- Assistance in the organisation of buying sessions to present new collections
2. Marketing
- Retail marketing: assistance in the implementation of the retail marketing plan (in-store animations, emailing campaigns, windows installation, etc.)
- Trade marketing: assistance in the setting-up of marketing activities with key wholesale accounts
- E-marketing: participation in the development of the e-commerce channel & CRM tools
- Continuous competitors analysis
3. Miscellaneous
- Preparation of the monthly internal newsletter
- Organisation of training sessions
- Administrative office tasks (meetings organisation, invoices follow-up, etc.)
Applicant profile
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree
- First experience (internship) in a commercial and/or marketing position
- Retail experience will be highly appreciated
- Proficient in MS Office with an advanced level in Excel
- Excellent organisational skills, meticulous and reactive
- Proactive, hands-on, detail oriented, team player attitude
- Fluent in written and spoken English, French is a plus
