Software Testing Engineer – Consumer

We are offering an exciting opportunity for you, a software testing experienced enthusiast. A job position like this with colleagues like us is not open every day.

We are interested in your willingness to develop your skills with us more than your CV. You are, like us, on a quest to make software testing better, an important and integral part of the product development. Together we are on a world mapping adventure that makes us proud now and in the future.

We need your skills in exploratory software testing to be above the par in the industry. Ability to do test automation and expand our continuous integration pipeline is a bonus but not mandatory. We aim higher and need new members for the team. More than certification we expect results. We will also ask you to test something for us so you can demonstrate your expertise.

This is not the most important criteria. With what skills, experience and contribution you start will naturally affect your starting salary.

Responsibilities:

· Exploratory testing for HERE Consumer product on Android, iOS and/or web. This will involve field testing in a car, using public transport and walking.
· Plan what to test and what not to test, what should be tested manually and what not at all
· Communicate the feedback you gathered through testing patiently and effectively to the right persons in the organization
· Continuously make our practices and results better
· Develop your own skills and spread them to others

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  Desire to learn
·  1-2 years experience in Software Testing
·  Crisp & clear communication skills in both writing & verbal situations
·  The wisdom to know when to write, when to speak and when to listen and desire to develop this skill
·  Understanding that professionalism is not the absence of fun and that absence of fun is unprofessional.
·  Valid EU driving license
