Summary:
The Senior Director of Global Marketing will be a member of the Global Strategic Business Unit and responsible for driving unified growth for 8 Technology Steering Units within the Electronics Adhesive Business. The strategic global leader will manage an international team of steering unit Directors and prioritize growth opportunities that holistically aligns with other functional areas of the global business.
What we offer (Responsibilities)
· Develop and maintain innovation project prioritization process across SBU
· Drive active innovation project portfolio management across SBU
· Ensure technology roadmap is up to date based on holistic view not just from inputs from Steering Units but also from external view
· Ensure enabling technology development plan in place by working with Adhesive Research and external partners to support long term innovation projects
· Identify white space outside of existing or focus marketing / geographies, monitor & plan for potential threats/opportunities
· Identify M&A target from Technology view and support execution
· Engage in active talent mgmt. and career development initiatives
· Active innovation project portfolio management across SBU Innovation resource allocation optimization with Product Development leads
· Alignment with Adhesive Research and external partners M&A strategy development from technology view
· Lead strategic adaptation of technology portfolio to changing market conditions
· Develop and monitor KPI set
· Manage and grow technology knowledge base
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Who we are looking for (Qualifications)
· Bachelor degree in science, engineering and/or business, MBA preferred
· 10+ years of B2B marketing/business development experience with a strong track record of leadership and delivering results within specialty materials science/engineering or closely related industries
· Strong leadership of high functioning and performing teams
· Ability to engage and work collaboratively across the entire global organization
· Effective influencing skills and strategic decision making while considering multiple sources of input and stakeholders
· Understand interdependencies, cause and effect relationships to develop insights
· Excellent communication and business acumen
· Results oriented project management skills
· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
· Ideal candidate based out of Irvine, CA; will consider other locations for preferred candidate
