Job Summary: The Production Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient execution of the production and/or packaging of products manufactured in Bay Point, California. This position reports to the area Supervisor, but may receive direction and/or training from other designated personnel.

Job Duties
· Requires the precise chemical and physical manipulation of materials and products through
the execution of manufacturing instructions, safety procedures, proper waste disposal
procedures, standard operating procedures and other production related documentation.
· Effectively function within a team environment or work as an individual contributor and is
responsible for his/her level of authority for ensuring compliance with all approved policies,
procedures, and practices of the Bay Point facility.
· Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of hours worked, details on products
produced and training records.
· Safely operate Manufacturing Equipment using detailed instructions and daily inspections of
assigned machinery, equipment and infrastructure.
· Practice good housekeeping habits to ensure the work areas are clean and organized at the
end of the assigned shift.
· Must be able to adjust to changes in workflow, prioritize as needed, and meet deadlines.
· Work on Health, Safety and Environmental Teams to continuously improve work processes,
aid in other areas, train other operators and other special projects assigned by Henkel
Personnel.

Qualifications :
Who we are looking for
· H.S. Diploma or G.E.D
· Must have good oral and written communication skills.
· Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
· Must be able to work a rotating shift.
· Proficient at routine mathematics, which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and
division.
· Must be trainable to safely operate production equipment and maintain daily records for work
performed.
· Must be able to retain information and training.
· Must work efficiently and within established time frames and effectively function within a
team environment.
· The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects,
tools or controls.
· Ability to regularly file paper work.
· Able to safely lift 50 pounds and manipulate drums weighing up to 600 pounds with proper
mechanical assists
· Able to work with and around hazardous materials, chemicals, and equipment
· Will be working in the presence of environmental conditions such as fumes, dust, heights,
chemicals, odors and noise.
· Able to climb stairs (20+) several times per day
· Drive high lift truck – including use of steps and sitting during operation.
· Occasionally sit, view a computer screen, and type on a keyboard for extended periods of
times. Verbally communicate one-on-one and in front of groups.
· Occasionally write by hand and/or type on a keyboard for periods of times.
