The key purpose is to manage the contract manufacturer of Henkel Beauty Care. The Production Manager (m/f) is responsible for the introduction of new products & technologies and monitor the production performance of the contract manufacturer. He/She strives for continues improvements and standardization keeping always costs and implementation time in mind. The Production Manager (m/f) is working hand in hand with Marketing, Purchasing and other Supply Chain function within an international environment.

What we offer

· Manage contract manufacturer (set-up relevant requirements) and execute production strategy
· Escalate and monitor execution (trouble shooting i.e. auxiliary production, quality issues, sorting and rework actions, transport issues)
· Identify, evaluate and onboard new contract manufacturers
· Identify, propose, approve and execute production related investments
· Define, execute and approve production process (MOQ, production window, zero production)
· Manage scale-up production, approve and document manufacturing instructions
· Define, approve, execute and monitor quality standards
· Propose, execute and approve Trial Batch / Filling Trial / Zero Production
· Identify, propose and execute cost saving projects, production performance activities and ideal production sites (make or buy study) together with relevant purchasing manager
· Define, execute and monitor business rules between Henkel and contract manufacturer
· Steer and monitor documentation process implement and monitor Audit findings
· Ensure corporate compliance for e.g. secrecy agreement, contracts, compliance regulations

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  Excellent Degree Engineering and/or MBA
·  Technical/chemical background required
·  Minimum 3 years of business expertise, including project management capabilities
·  Experienced in using MS Office and SAP R3
·  Fluency in both English and German
·  Team player with great negotiation skills
