Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Specialist - Temporary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a temporary 12 month contract for a Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Specialist in PSRA Department in Henkel Ireland, Tallaght, Dublin 24.


Duties and Responsibilities of the position:
· Authoring EU SDSs for AG/AE/ATA adhesives.
· Customer support in relation to the safe use of AG/AE/ATA adhesives.
· Ensures compliance of new product development to relevant EU Regulations to assure new product development success and product safety compliance.
· Notifies product management, product development in advance of emerging regulations, which may have an impact on SDS/labelling or import compliance of AG/AE/ATA adhesives.
· Is responsible for Real Substance assessments relevant to AG and electronics/Aerospace adhesives to validate regulatory requirements, as appropriate to support the business.
· Interprets regulations as they apply to AG/AE/ATA adhesives including traded goods and toll manufactured formulations.

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  A Ph.D. in Chemistry or similar discipline is desirable.
·  At least 2 years' experience working in European chemical control regulations e.g. REACH and CLP.
·  At least 2 years' experience authoring EU SDSs.
·  Previous experience in Project management of regulatory compliance projects.
·  Excellent relationship building, presentation and organisational skills required.
·  Excellent knowledge of Lotus Notes Databases, Sharepoint and SAP P03 System.
