The "Analytics Center of Excellence" is embedded in the Henkel in-house consulting organization. We are a truly international team of experts in data science and data engineering, implementing analytical use cases along the entire value chain of Henkel for its business units and functions, from product innovation to customer facing applications. We apply the latest tools and technologies as well as cloud services to design, build and run data driven AI solutions that contribute to Henkel's digitalization strategy.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration or comparable; experienced practitioners also welcome
·  At least 2 years' working experience in the area of data engineering, data science or business intelligence
·  Complete data value chain knowledge: ingesting raw sources, writing data integrations, harmonizing them into a common ontology to create “golden” datasets, scheduling and monitoring builds, verifying data quality, creating dashboards and training machine learning models as well as operationalizing them
·  Very good understanding of data and big data management systems, creative sense for data and what can we do with it
·  Good working knowledge in Python, our main data wrangling language, as well as a good working experience with code versioning (git); experience with Spark, Scala, Java and/or JavaScript or other programming languages is of advantage; coding is key, we strongly believe in the “everything as code” concept.
·  Experience with Machine Learning is a big plus
·  Good understanding of cloud technologies and modern computing environments like Docker
·  Fluent English and German skills
·  Excellent and pragmatic problem-solving skills
