Coordinate maintenance activities by ensuring equipment, parts, and labor are available to complete task. Work with approved vendors to have required critical spare parts on hand. Plan short-term and long-term maintenance activities and tasks. Routinely perform PM's to meet department objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Fulfill safety requirements per Henkel's standards, Salisbury's standards, and Department's objectives

· Required to perform various maintenance activities to fill needs of the department to include PM's

· Maintain critical spare parts as determined by management and Facilities Manager

· Coordinate activities between production and maintenance

· Attend production meetings

· Correspond with vendors to acquire equipment and parts as directed by Facilities Manager

· Develop reports from CMMS as directed

· Maintain accurate spare parts inventory with proper stocking levels

· Issue and review work permits for contractors and for various nonroutine tasks

· Review contractor tasks while on site

· Ensure contractors are safety trained and that they follow Henkel's standards

· Work with Project Engineering for contractor coordination

· Work with Project Engineering for storage of project equipment

· Review accounts payable vendor invoices for proper information

· Order/rent equipment that corresponds with the safety, production, and facility's needs.

· Provide short term scheduling for the department

· Fully understand the work permit systems
· Excellent team work and organizational skills
· Maintain accurate equipment documentation
· Comply with Henkel's 5S program

Who we are looking for

Education & Professional Requirements

·  3-5 years, experience within a Maintenance Department
·  Knowledge and use of purchasing systems
·  Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
·  Skilled in Microsoft Office and Outlook
·  Knowledge of a CMMS program – (SAP or EAM preferred)
·  Knowledge of P&ID's and blueprints
·  Excellent dependability and reliability
·  Prefer more than two years working with maintenance inventory
·  Prefer experience with LEAN and/or Six Sigma techniques
·  Prefer knowledge of Auto Cad

Physical Requirements

· Frequently sit, view a computer screen, and type on a keyboard for extended periods of times

· Occasionally may be required to reach, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

· Stand, climb, and work at heights for extend periods of time

· Wear a respirator as required and work in confined space as needed

· Work in non-climate controlled work area.

Additional Requirements

·  Train others on CMMS
·  Be the backup to Team Leader
·  Have all instruments up to date on certifications to include N.I.S.T updating
·  Transfer all data from work orders to shared database
·  Monitor MOC's before work is scheduled to start by maintenance

· Need valid state driver's license

· Fully understands maintenance hardware and terminology as used in the field

· Additional requirements as assigned
