We are looking for highly motivated and global minded students interested to work within a fast pace business environment. An internship for a period of 3 to 6 months at Henkel's headquarters in Düsseldorf offers the chance to gain practical experience and to make use of the theory learned at university. What we offer

·  Own set of responsibilities in the project teams encompassing planning, operating and analyzing experiments
·  Active involvement in the development of new substances for different application areas
·  Planning and carrying out of preparative organic synthesis in lab-scale
·  Involvement in the formulation and testing of new substances for new and innovative Laundry and Home Care products

Desired profile

Who we are looking for

·  A student of chemistry who has already passed the undergraduate or bachelor studies, with organic chemistry as the main fields of study
·  Ability to work independently in a laboratory for preparative chemistry
·  Practical or international experiences, e.g. by former internships or semester abroad are advantageous
·  Very good English language skills, German language skills are advantageous
·  Firm knowledge in MS-Office applications
·  A team-oriented, open-minded, analytical, and flexible personality
