This position has the ability to be based at any Henkel Adhesives facility in the US.

What we offer (Job Description)

· Lead improvement projects that utilize PDCA methodology (e.g. A3 Thinking, DMAIC, 8D, Red X) and that deliver results in key quality metrics (i.e. Off-Spec Rate, OSMI,
· Scrap, Blocked Stock, COPQ).
· Lead and support teams that develop and implement policies, standards and systems related to improving processes.
· Champion “Built in Quality” by delivering training, workshops, assessments and coaching at plants and warehouses. Elements of Built in Quality are problem solving, FMEA, control plan, six sigma, statistical controls, error proofing, and change control.
· Provide governance on deployed standards, through auditing, to ensure the standardized processes are operating as designed. Work to continuously improve upon these standards by working with regional and global teams to incorporate best practices.
· Share discovered quality related issues and best practices across North America and globally through the use of the Quality Alert systems.
· Drive the transformation of quality improvement at Adhesives Technologies North America and Latin America North focusing on internal quality.
· Execute global and regional quality strategy by leading projects, developing and implementing standard processes and performing training across the region.

Desired profile

Who we are looking for

·  BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering/technical field preferred (or equivalent experience.).
·  3+ years of experience in a position performing quality functions (will also consider combination of Lean Practitioner and PDCA methodology expertise.)
·  3+ years of demonstrated PDCA methodology (e.g. A3 Thinking, DMAIC, 8D, Red X) trainer or coach experience required.
·  Must possess strong relationship building, communication, influencing and mentoring skills.
·  Demonstrated success in mentoring leaders and leading teams of problem solvers with a balance of reactive and proactive quality efforts.
·  Ability to travel within North America and Latin America North extensively (approximately 30%, bilingual Spanish preferred).
