For the September cycle we are looking for ambitious students who would like to apply for an internship in Global Procurement Indirects. Our Global Procurement Indirects team offers 4 internship positions starting in September.
Notice that for all intern positions we only hire candidates that are currently registered as a student
For students with a nationality other than one of the European Union members:
- You need to be currently studying in the Netherlands
- The internship must be an obligatory part of your study, and your study institution needs to approve the internship (sign an agreement)
For the Indirects Global Procurement team in Zeist we are looking for a (3rd/4th year of study) Bachelor/Master student who is interested in an internship of 6-12 months which can include a graduation assignment.
The purpose of the role is to support and work with the global team responsible for the procurement of Indirects. Indirects Procurement includes sourcing of Marketing (premiums, displays, agencies, media), Travel, Staffing, Leases and Rentals, HR Services, Services, Consultancy, Technology, Capex, MRO, Facility Management and Energy.
The internship can be used to develop a problem statement for a thesis. Examples of problem statements from former interns:
What is the best procurement strategy and process for solar power installations in Kraft Heinz plants?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of Kraft Heinz Zero Based Budgeting methods?
The key activities of the applicant are:
1. Assist Global Category Leads and Buyers in day to day issues at hand (Invoice resolution, supplier queries, Purchase Order approvals)
2. A thorough spends analysis and data collection of the Indirects spend and supplier base. With the data gathering the applicant will need to have a pro-active approach in reaching out to the various countries.
3. Based on the spend analyses a plan needs to be developed on how to approach the spend.
4. Contracts need to be updated and maintained. Applicant will assist in securing that all current contracts are signed and stored correctly and termination clauses are clear.
5. Assist Global Category Leads and Buyers on current projects. This will involve assessing requirements, conducting industry analyses, drafting tender documents, and preparing and conducting negotiations,

Salary for 4 days a week € 500 per month, for 5 days a week € 625 per month
