Marketing Campaign Specialist, Reading, £25-£30,000
The main role of the Marketing Campaign/Automation Specialist is to generate email campaigns to new prospects and existing members. This person will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create, build, deliver and report on targeted outbound campaigns.
About the job:
You must have strong content creation skills, beginner to intermediate HTML knowledge, and be familiar with a marketing automation tool.
Responsibilities:
Support Corporate Marketing in developing and executing marketing campaigns
- Manage automated campaign including building, deploying and tracking campaign performance via reports along with dashboards
- Manage the development and utilization of content marketing pieces to be utilized with the Marketing Automation system
- Segment and leverage the marketing database for efficient and effective campaign targeting
- Understand targeted email and digital marketing and list building/segmentation
- Write compelling content for digital marketing of newsletters, news, white papers, etc
- Work closely with the Business Development Team and Forum Directors to build and deliver outbound email campaigns to new prospects by product and/or geography
- Manage the outbound campaign calendar
- Write content for, deliver and optimize monthly newsletter using best practices
- Create drip campaigns for ongoing nurturing programs
- Create landing pages with accompanying email marketing for all campaigns
- Must be highly collaborative with internal teams to ensure proper alignment of programs with the key goals and objectives of Corporate Marketing
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of a marketing automation tool like Pardot or Eloqua.
- Understand marketing automation techniques like lead scoring, CRM integration and list uploads
- Understand marketing operations and campaign management
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for digital and email marketing campaigns
- Ability to work independently and with geographically dispersed teams (virtual teams in different time zones)
Advantage:
- Experience marketing in information technology sector
- Fluency with Pardot
- Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM system
- HTML / CSS coding skills
