HTML & CSS Internship (1 Month, Paid)

Job description

We’re a Camden-based web creation start-up and we help entrepreneurs and creatives get their first bespoke websites. We’re getting increasingly busy and we are looking for some HTML and CSS help for a one month paid internship - and hopefully longer!

This is an ideal role for someone with solid HTML and CSS chops and wants to grow into becoming a full front-end developer.

We can’t promise a lot of money (though you will be paid the London Living Wage of £8.80 per hour) but we can promise oodles of learning. You will swiftly be taking the lead on delivering client projects, working with the guidance of the founder (in case that last sentence scared you!).

We need you to:

- Have a strong portfolio in HTML and CSS, whether that is professional or personal projects,

- Be quick-thinking and quick-working, creative and problem-solving,

- Have a real passion for web development, to spend an inordinate amount of your personal time on Dribbble, Panda, Pinterest, and be keen to explore new concepts, design ideas and open source tools,

- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced results-focused environment. This is not a job where we expect you to sit at a desk from 9-5; we don’t care when you work (and where eventually, though we should spend the first month together!), we just care about keeping our clients happy,

- Be people-focused; we are helping clients in one of the most exciting (and terrifying) times of their lives, starting their new business or creative project - we are always mindful of that!
