Job description
A rare and exciting opportunity to join our office team at Haughley Park. The role will be varied, challenging and rewarding.
You will be part of a small team responsible for the smooth running of Haughley Park Barn and Farmhouse. Main duties will include general administrative tasks, client viewings, bookings and communications.
Key characteristics of the successful candidate will be good attention to detail, high levels of organisation, and demonstrating a positive and helpful attitude.
Previous experience of working in the Hospitality and Events industry is preferred but not essential.
Main days of work will be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Some weekend work is a requisite part of the job. Flexibility on work-hours to a degree from both sides is understood.

Weekly hours: 12 (4hrs: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
Weekend hours: Approx. 12 per month. (1 Saturday, 1 Sunday)

- Excellent written and spoken English
- Computer skills and working knowledge of all MSoffice programs
- Previous experience in customer-facing role
- Ability to work both independantly and as part of a small team
- Time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Willing to learn new skills (e.g. use of basic audio-visual tecnology)
Desirable
- Experience of SAGE accounting software
- Creative problem solving skills under pressure
- Experience in Weddings, Events, Hospitality or Leisure Industry
