Job Purpose

Responsible for the completion of specific post approval tasks to ensure statutory compliance and client support.

Main Duties

  • Drafting variation proposals
  • Liaising with clients in regards to their variation report and ensuring content of reports mirror the clients circumstances
  • Drafting accurate Income and Expenditure documentation to accompany variation reports
  • Adjusting Payment Schedules and Fee Schedules
  • Fee Calculations and Fee Refunds
  • Producing accurate revised outcome statements and receipt and payment’s that are in line with specific fee provisions
  • Chairing meetings of creditors for variations
  • Chasing clients for mod acceptance confirmation
  • Liaising with clients and creditors to ensure successful outcome of proposed variations
  • Maximising variation fees through pro-active vote chasing and creditor negotiation
  • Maximising Supervisory Fees through appropriate variation fee resolutions
  • Handling correspondence and queries from client and creditors
  • Maintaining each client file in accordance with departmental policies
  • Comply with the Data Protection Act at all times ensuring our clients data remains safe
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as required

Key Skills

  • Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Used to working to targets in a pressured environment
  • Ability to work well as an individual and as a member of a team
  • Knowledge of current Insolvency legislation
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data input and processing
  • An excellent timekeeper with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of our customers
  • Insolvency experience

£17,000 - £20,000 per annum
