Handepay, based in Haydock, are a provider of merchant services to independent businesses across the UK. Founded in 2006, the company has over 100 employees, 26,000+ customers and has a strong focus on excellent customer service. We aim to help businesses save money and grow through its services which include chip and PIN card terminals, contactless terminals and e-commerce solutions.

We are revolutionising card payments and as a result are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our busy marketing team.

The main purpose of this role is to generate leads for our sales team through emails, social media and other direct marketing campaigns and to increase our online presence.

Main duties will include:

• Manage and execute email and direct mail marketing campaigns
• Document client and prospect marketing activity in our CRM system
• Administrate leads, prospects, contact information in our CRM system
• Feed the sales team and liaise with them with regards to lead generation
• Perform target market research and source data lists for marketing campaigns
• Manage website pages, SEO, analytics and adwords
• Daily production of relevant news stories / blogs
• Contact customers for case studies / testimonials
• Help maintain and grow our high level of positive customer reviews
• Process weekly / monthly / quarterly reports on marketing activity

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is a team player with clear focus on customer service, quality and accuracy
• Has the ability to think outside the box and suggest new and exciting ideas
• Is able to manage own workload and work unsupervised if necessary
• Is experienced in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel knowledge

• Has used WordPress or similar

• Has experience of using social media platforms for marketing campaigns

Salary:

£16 - 18K plus pension

Qualifications & experience required:

You should be studying towards, or achieved a recognised marketing qualification such as a degree and have over one year’s marketing experience.
