Lifeguards / Pool Attendants - Private Members' Club - London

We are seeking qualified Lifeguards / Pool Attendants to provide casual cover (varied hours including some evenings and weekends), within the fitness centre team at a members’ club in South West London.

Trading since 1869 and set in 42 acres of magnificent grounds, the Club is a green oasis of tradition and international renown. Recognised throughout the world as one of Britain’s greatest private members’ clubs, it retains its quintessentially English traditions and heritage, while providing modern facilities and services for its members.

Working at both the Outdoor Pool and the Indoor Pool in the Fitness Centre, you will primarily be required to act as a professional lifeguard on poolside and carry out cleaning duties whilst off poolside. You will also support the team, set up studios for activities, cover reception and deal with members and their guests both face-to-face and over the phone; whilst ensuring the reception area and the shop is clean and presentable and that shop sales are processed correctly.

To qualify... You should be a qualified lifeguard / pool attendant, with exceptional customer service skills and be confident to remain calm in all situations. Your CV should demonstrate:

• Recognised lifeguard qualification - for example the NPLQ issued by the RLSS;


• Proven lifeguarding experience;


• Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality;


• Confident, good attention to detail and high personal standards;


• Computer Literate;


• Administrative, Reception and retail experience advantageous;


• Passion and drive as a team player;


• Personality suitable for the Club.

Previous experience as a Lifeguard / Pool Attendant is essential.
