Job description

The purpose of Gui-Patrick Foundation is to fight against functional illiteracy. The Foundation’s mission is to reduce “this scourge” which is affecting more and more people. The Foundation aims to achieve this, not only by direct help and tuition, but also by raising awareness of the condition which remains largely unknown to the public in general.
We are able to offer an exciting internship role especially for those who are seeking either to gain experience in the communication field within a charity.

Responsibilities

Social media:
-Develop creative strategies to communicate with internal and external audiences using tools such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedln and Youtube.
-Contribute to the daily communication using social media tools and propose new content to be posted
-Research social media policies and guidelines to establish need and framework for the charity
-Project: “TV program” on Youtube

Public Relations:
-Look for new sponsors to support the charity
-Prepare or edit publications for internal and external audiences (articles , annual reports)
-Support personnel to produce or coordinate production of advertisements and
Promotions
-Consult with advertising agencies or staff to arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media
You will work closely with the Public Relations Coordinator and support the Communications Officer and Communications Assistant.

-Fluent English both written and spoken

Professional qualfications
-Computer literate-MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
-Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication
