Retail Team Assistant

Job description

Role Mission

The intern will support the UK & Ireland Retail Area Manager and Area Head Office Team, to ensure a smooth and efficient running of the Area Office.

Key Responsibilities

· Update and generate weekly reports highlighting commercial performance by store, identifying trends and any potential areas of concern

· Monitor and track ongoing regional and worldwide retail projects to ensure all projects are communicated to the relevant stakeholders and are progressing to implementation and deadline

· Manage the administration of projects, training and events at the request of the Regional Team

· Support the execution of the CRM strategy at a local level

· Prepare for and attend management meetings, ensuring that all relevant follow up and reporting is completed

· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requests and activities are completed within the appropriate timescales

· Support the uniform coordination for the area upon request

· Diary Management – Schedule appointments, communicate to attendees and book the appropriate facilities

· Collate and co-ordinate travel requirements for business trips and meetings

· Complete expenses and monitor to budget for the Retail Area Manager

Desired profile

Key Skills

· Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise

· Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

· Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form

· Demonstrates an analytical mind and focuses on attention to detail

· Has fashion awareness and an affinity to the brand

· Is open and willing to adapt to the situation, learn and take on challenges as they arise while continually focusing on improvements

· Previous experience in a retail role would be a real asset

· Is professional, positive and supportive in approach
