WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE?
This role is part of Privacy CoE, specifically within GEC. The role is responsible for the operational management and oversight of GSK policy, procedures and governance related to the GSK Information Protection Enterprise Risk and Internal Control Framework (ICF). The role ensures that Privacy internal control documents and training are being effectively managed & coordinated across GSK.

WHAT WILL YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

This role is responsible for the management of Privacy standards & training within the Privacy CoE and also providing support into the delivery of the Privacy operating model including:

• Update and maintenance of key Privacy policies, standards, standard operating procedures & guidelines
• Management of Privacy training delivery to GSK
• Socialise policy and procedural changes with SME's and key stakeholders
• Act as the ‘centre of excellence' for all policy related questions, change requests and variance approvals
• Help build consensus for changes with the business units through their privacy representatives
• Help drive the documentation and deployment of an overarching Privacy governance framework, including Privacy decision rights and RACI matrices
• Development and maintain content for e-learning policy training modules
• Gather and populate operational governance metrics and supporting measurement & reporting tools, including delivery of quarterly Privacy Governance DashboardDevelop and implement Privacy internal processes to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:
• Experience in Privacy or GRC, particularly with regards to delivery of policies and compliance training programme
• Relevant BA/BS degree, CIPP or equivalent work experience in Information Privacy or GRC
• Ability to assess, organize, prioritize, estimate, execute and deliver results on a variety of concurrent activities
• Influencing skills and awareness of GSK IP&P strategies and vision on a global level.
• Demonstrable track record in communication, personal effectiveness, and influencing skills.
• Broad knowledge of Information Protection or Privacy Principles
• English language proficiency and experienced in working within a global, multi-cultural work environment

Preferred qualifications:
• CIPP (IT, M, E, US or AP)
• Privacy policy and governance applied within a Pharmaceutical/Healthcare company
