A key component for the success of the New GSK will be the ability to deliver specialty medicines to patients reliably through an expanding internal and external network. Due to the complex nature of specialty medicines close partnership and collaboration with external partners is critical for the New GSK to be competitively successful. The Specialty External Manufacture team is accountable for the operational oversight and management of all Specialty external suppliers.

· Developing strong relationships with existing and new external specialty partners.
· Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive a robust end to end supply chain performance.
· Ensure that supply of existing and new products is delivered in line with commercial ambition.
· Develop and improve ways of working to build an efficient and effective organization.
· Collaborate across GSK, including R&D and Commercial to deliver the future portfolio of specialty medicines.
This role is part of the SEM Team, working alongside our partners in all areas of SEM including Finance, Procurement, Franchise, Technical, and Quality
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient, timely and reliable supply of materials/ products from a designated number of external 3rd party contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to commercial markets and GMS sites, throughout the duration of the contract.
· Act as the principal point of contact for the day to day business relationship for the assigned CMO’s.
· Lead a cross-functional team to ensure end-to-end oversight of assigned CMO’s, ensuring reliable on-going supply, quality, customer service, compliance and value for the life cycle of the contract and across the life cycle of the material / product portfolio with the CMO’s.
· Develop beneficial relationships with the assigned contract manufacturers in order to deliver increased competitive advantage through lower cost, customer service & quality within the framework of the Supply Agreements (MSA) / SLA’s and Quality Agreements (QA) with these CMO.
· Appropriately identify risks and mitigating actions as well as Continuous Improvement activity to support reliable quality and supply at appropriate cost
Key Responsibilities
As a Supply Relationship Manager you will Perform day to day transactions to facilitate product flow between suppliers and GSK, Including;
· Establish relationships based on trust and collaboration with all stakeholders E2E for the CMOs/ products the supplier relationship manager is responsible for.
· Effective flow of information both internally & externally to process orders, using designated GSK tools.
· Partnering with the planning organization to ensure OTIF delivery of required stock, and future planning for forecasted requirements.
· Partnering with the quality organizations between GSK and suppliers to ensure product flow.
· Partnering with the technical organizations between GSK and suppliers to ensure that the process performance meets GSK expectations, and that the supplier is receiving the technical support necessary.
· Processing shipment documentation.
· Coordinating sample movement.
· Confirming supply schedules and performance against target, inputting into SEM KPIs.
· Escalation and management of priorities to support patient supply.
· Coordinating sub team meetings as necessary to resolve issues aligned to technical, quality and supply concerns.
· As this is an interface role, good influencing and communication skills both internally and externally are key to success in the role.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
· Bachelor's level education or 5+ years in Supply Chain or Procurement
· 2+ years of Experience with GSK or equivalent ERP systems for operations
· 2 + years’ experience of supply chain or procurement operations
