Role : Sr. Manager Learning & Development - GRC ( Governance, Risk and Compliance )
Job Purpose:
GSK Digital and Tech is looking for an experienced, organised, self-driven, and results-oriented technology Learning and Development senior manager to support our training and learning ambitions for the GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) team. We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Designer to join our team. You will play a critical role in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for our digital & tech teams. You will use your expertise to define and deliver learning for GSK’s Tech teams – leveraging experience of different methodologies, technologies and multimedia design to create innovative solutions that align with our business objectives and promote continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with appropriate leaders and project sponsors to understand GRC L&D demands and requirements
· Design and develop all training content (instructor slides, handbooks, scripts, storyboards, web-based training decks, interactivity modules, quizzes, activities, etc.)
· Meet with Subject Matter Experts to conduct Front End Analysis/Task Analyses and document content-specific knowledge to support training development
· Define and deliver training strategy.
· Manage training plans, budget, risks and issues, calling out to senior management when appropriate
· Manage offshore development teams and instructional designers to produce training
· Develop SMART Learning Objectives
· Review training content created by other team members
· Scheduling and building out training schedules calendar
· Own the course setup (both online and instructor-led), along with logistics (room booking, catering) and scheduling and enrolment
· Create reporting metrics and key performance indicators for training
· Support development of executive reporting and dashboards
· Work with teams across multiple countries to deliver effective training
· Deliver global training curriculum for GRC internal team and upskill GSK Tech teams
· Build close working relationships with customers, engineering teams and relevant business contacts to ensure confidence is built and maintained, and all parties are informed and engaged during the project
· Establishes strategic direction in assigned area, by influencing and negotiating successful outcomes with senior leaders inside and outside of GRC (at SVP, VP and Tech LT levels)
· Recommends and manages intelligent risk taking, with high transparency and with a clear willingness to be held accountable
· Supports leadership address high risk, high impact situations with clear analysis, high transparency and a sense of partnership, even if faced with significant adversity or major obstacles

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
· Degree in Learning Development, Instructional Design, Education, OR equivalent practical experience
· Good experience of learning and development, instructional design and / or curriculum development experience
· Experience reviewing the work of others for quality and consistency
· Experience working with fast-paced cutting edge technologies
· Strong organizational skills
· Experience with documentation, technical writing, and narrative scripting.
· Tolerance and enthusiasm for working with ambiguity and change.
· Experience with e-learning authoring software; i.e. Success Factors, Articulate storyline, Evolve for course development.
· Proven excellence in developing fully ADA Compliant training deliverables.
· Experience in corporate education
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
· Experience identifying training needs, defining, and building scalable training solutions to address the needs of a diverse international audience
· Experience using e-learning tools (i.e. Articulate, Captivate) to create training content
· Experience migrating training courses into LMS
· Solid experience planning for and managing several large-scale, complex training projects and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to deliver quality training materials within deadlines; excellent relationship building, collaboration, consultation, and influencing skills.
· A team player with a positive attitude; excellent written and oral business communication and people skills.
· Video editing such as Premier, Finalcut, Camtasia, etc.
· Experience in defining training metrics and goals, and creating executive reports and dashboards to support
