Job description
Basic qualifications:
(1) Bachelor degree required. Advanced degree in quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Management Science, Operations Research, Psychology. MBA preferred.
(2) Good business sense, strategic thinking skills, insightful and able to see the implication to GSK strategy and operation from scattered information.
(3) 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably in a market research, forecasting, sales analysis, finance consulting role)
(4) Good interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to communicate complex concepts and information clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences
(5) Sales or marketing background & good experience in China pharmaceutical market. Be able to establish wide external contact from field sales force to various vendors, competitor's professionals.
(6) High levels of analytical (both quantitative and qualitative) capability coupled with a proven ability to think conceptually
(7) Strong Excel skills; knowledge of statistical modeling and analysis techniques
(8) English proficiency in reading, writing and oral communication

Role Purpose 职位目的:
Maximize value of SFE/BI in support of business operation and strategy.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities 主要工作职责:
(1) Identify responsible BU business needs and prioritize the requests from BU product lines. Perform analyses on secondary data sources (e.g. IMS, CPA, Haihong), internal data (DMS, SFA, CDM), and other information, including both:
a) Development of standard reports to support routine tracking and decision-making within and across the BUs
b) Provide business analysis, ad hoc reports and business implication interpretation to BU leadership;
(2) Effectively communicate findings and recommendations across the business
(3) Coordinate & communicate key projects across SFE/BI & BU such as hospital potential, territory alignment, target setting etc.; Develop expertise of systems and data sources and tools / methodologies to maximize effectiveness of role
(4) Assist in execution of SFA operation system
(5) Evaluate effectiveness of promotion activities & provide sales force training support
