The Senior Product Owner will be responsible for ensuring the Tech service is maintained for production business solutions within multiple Product lines and that associated support staff undertaking day to day support, compliance, maintenance, upgrades, delivery and decommissioning activities are doing so in line with the appropriate product strategy. Their main interaction with the business is through direct contact with customer locations (e.g. manufacturing sites) as part of leading delivery and technical support for quality and labs products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Ownership of product delivery capacity and capability, as well as, accountability for service management processes and governance across PSC tech Quality and Labs product portfolio.
·  Local Leader for GSC Digital and Technology Quality Technical Operations Team at Poznan GCC
·  Ensure that requested work is aligned to agreed demand types and added to the product backlog.
·  Plan, budget, and Lead teams around Component Currency and Platform upgrades
·  Point of contact for relevant parties associated to major disruptions and/or amendments to the allocated product lines.
·  Act as escalation point and coordinator (as required) for resolution of major outages.
·  Liaison with strategic suppliers, application vendors, product managers, and business to ensure support services (and licensing) are suitable and maintained.
·  Reduce support and maintenance costs associated with allocated assets by decommissioning, or consolidating similar products as approved by Product Director.
·  Work with Product Directors and Product Managers to ensure products are maintained, current, and security vulnerabilities are addressed. Ensure component currency and upgrade projects are visible on the product backlog and are prioritized accordingly. Work with Product Directors and Product Managers to ensure technical capacity scales appropriately for the delivery of product enhancements and other changes.
·  Work closely with strategic suppliers and product managers to secure appropriate funding to supplement technical resources as needed, in the support of product delivery changes.
·  Serve as GSK point of contact for service operations performance, and ensure strategic partners are delivering on KPIs around services they manage.
·  Responsible for ensuring that GxP practices and the GSK Service Management Standard Processes are applied and adhered to including maintaining inspection readiness of the applications and embedding standard ways of working in accordance with Tech Quality Risk and Compliance policies.

Basic Qualifications

·  Talented First Line Leader – experience in leading teams delivering and/or supporting a global customer base across many sites
·  Knowledge of key trends (functional and technical) within BioPharm, Pharma, or Vaccines
·  Experienced in delivering and supporting applications that are subject to GxP compliance, and ensuring inspection readiness of GxP applications
·  Delivery experience using Kanban or Scrum and familiarity with Agile delivery tools
·  Past delivery against product backlogs and technical roadmaps (New Functionality as well as Component Currency Upgrades and Patching)
· 
Experience of working within a matrixed organization with multiple leaders to handle

​ Preferred Qualifications

·  Experience with Lab QC process and applications, especially LIMS system such as Labware, Labvantage, or Starlims.
·  Experience with Pharma, BioPharm, or Vx QC systems and processes
·  Experience working on regulated application platforms
·  Able to manage application platforms hosted in the cloud and understanding of best practices around controlling costs in a cloud hosting environment
