The Quality Control Bulk and Finished Products Lab Technician at our GSK Nyon site, you will be providing analysis of bulk and finished products on time by appropriate methods while respecting Good Manufacturing Practices
Your responsibilities include in detail:
• Performing bulks and finished products tests by, mainly, HPLC technique (Other techniques are also used such as TLC, GC, Spectro, TIT)
• Suggesting and supporting Continuous Improvement actions : EHS, Quality and cost
• Mastering the minor problems and ensuring equipment qualification
• Performing double check of colleagues tests to ensure the integrity of results
• Dealing with deviations according to current laboratory SOPs
• Creating SOPs and working documentation needed for QC laboratories
• Applying HSE rules of GSK and respecting all GMP standards to support the requirements expected by Swissmedic, European Union agencies and other regulatory bodies to assure that our products meet all GMP requirements together with our operations and documentation system.
As a successful Quality Control Bulk and Finished Products Lab Technician, you have the ability to deal with complex processes and handle stress in order to deliver full understanding and respect of GMP's.
You are also recognized for your team-spirit and for your adaptability.
Furthermore you display the following qualifications and competencies:
• Diploma of Higher Education, CFC or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacy or related industry
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a Pharmaceutical Environment
• Proven process understanding (Pharma, GMP, investigation and method development)
• Continuous improvement experience (Lean, 5S, Problem Solving,)
• Excellent problem identification and communication skills
• Safety, Quality, Result and Customer oriented
• Computer skills: MS Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in French and English A2 minimum
