Details:
Day-to-day activities include editing branded and unbranded promotional and disease state materials in electronic management system, participating in meetings as the editorial subject matter expert, and ensuring integrity of changes through subsequent review stages.
Ability to edit advertising, promotional, and educational projects to ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and context; accuracy of reference format using American Medical Associate Manual of Style

Desired profile
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, or comparable field; 2 years' experience proofreading and editing; demonstrated understanding of grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntactic rules of the English language; understanding of Windows-based computer operating system and applications; demonstrated proficiency in the use of Acrobat pdfs.
Preferred qualifications:
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality, error-free work. Ability to manage shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures. Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to effectively communicate and work well with others in a heavily matrixed organization.
Understanding of digital format, including mobile, web, and on demand materials. Familiarity with graphic arts and print production principles.
2 years' experience proofreading and editing pharmaceutical promotional materials or other healthcare editorial experience. Experience as the sole editorial subject matter expert in meeting environment, capturing all required changes in real time.
