The purpose of this job is to provide quality statistical input on clinical studies conducted by GSK Consumer Healthcare.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide scientific statistical input on clinical study design, including sample size calculation, at the outline and protocol stages of a study;
• Contribute to study set-up activities - randomization, case report form (CRF) development;
• Develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs) to achieve study objectives based on study data;
• Perform statistical analyses of data from clinical studies and/or other sources;
• Work on validation of study results;
• Report on study results - interpret results and contribute to study reports;
• Account management responsibilities for subcategory/ies;
• Departmental administrative responsibilities, including process improvement.

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:

• BSc level degree in Statistics or related field (or equivalent)
• Relevant experience as a clinical statistician
• Experienced and skilled in the following statistical methods: Linear models (ANOVA/ANCOVA), mixed models, nonparametric methods, logistic regression, survival analysis, TOST;
• Proficient in SAS programming related to dataset manipulation and the above statistical methods;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Masters level degree in Statistics or related field (or equivalent)
