Your Responsibilities :
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:
• Interfacing and partnering with many internal and external clients at many levels within each client group (operating companies in US, Puerto Rico and Canada, colleagues in Treasury GCM and GTC London, Treasury Ops and IHC London, and the Genpact BPOs in India (Hyderabad and Silokera).
• Primary point-of-contact in NA FS to the Payroll interface points (Banks, GSK business units, GSK Corporate departments, and the Cash Management process stakeholders (O2C/Accounts Receivable, P2P/Payables and T&E, R2R/GL and Reconciliations, Tax, Benefits and Payroll).
• This role is a key player in assuring adherence to Compliance and Governance (documenting policies and procedures, internal controls, Banking Resolutions and Authorized signers lists, and EGOL/FX risk management)
• This role will have access to confidential information and will need to use appropriate judgement in managing information (PII and SPII) accordingly.
Our Record to Report area characterizes by delivering best in class processes to the Regional GSK businesses, balancing cost, quality, customer experience, risk management and to work on Transformation initiatives. It is composed by five areas; fixed assets accounting, master data management, inventory, GL Close & Balance sheet reconciliation, and intercompany accounting.
Why You?
Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor university career completed (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance).
• Previous experience in Finance Accountant Payroll for North America (2 years' experience)
• Advanced MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Intermediate IT skills are required to understand and manage related technology.
• English level: B2.1
• Experience and knowledge of:
•Payroll Operations (US, Puerto Rico and Canada and familiarity with global ops).
•Intermediate Accounting
Preferred qualifications:
• Certified Payroll Professional credential will be a plus.
