We are looking for a C# developer responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements, story boards, and use cases into functional applications.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Math, Computer Science, Economics or Engineering Discipline; Oracle, SqlServer or other relational database.
·
2 + years Software Development experience (C# or ASP.net preferred)
·
Must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship.
·
Must be within daily commute distance of a GSK office, Philadelphia, PA , Durham, NC, Costa Rica or other GSK offices/facilities.
·
Position requires 2-3 days onsite per week
·
Relocation will not be provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
·
Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
·
Familiarity with .NET framework (both WinForms and ASP)
·
Team development experience with other architects, designers and developers
·
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
·
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
·
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
·
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (we use GIT)
·
Experience with Python a plus
·
Experience with Microsoft PowerBI a plus
