Job Description Summary-Job Family - Quality Control: Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses on products to uncover defects. Reports to management who make the decision to allow or deny the release. Testing for process monitoring. Testing of Raw Materials

Job Family Group - Quality: Develops and implements programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products, and internal systems and processes. Develops policies, procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and improve same.

Job Description:
 Perform microbiological analysis of Water, Raw material, bulk, finished product and stability sample.
 Prepare monthly schedules and execute the test for Water analysis & Environmental monitoring and update results summaries.
 Prepare microbiological media and its quality control test.
 Perform Microbiological Assays of Antibiotic, efficacy test of Disinfectants.
 Sample management “Receiving, storing and discarding” in optimum conditions.
 Preparation and preservation of reference standard cultures and its purity tests.
 Inventory control / ordering for All Consumables / Disposal materials.
 Waste management's as per EHS policy.
 Performing / Ensuring the Calibration / Validation for all lab equipments.
 Fulfil with all GMP, GLP, and GDP requirements.
 Recording / archiving all the Reports, file and documents.
 Updating the ATM / SOP according to related reference and QMS and GSK BIO SOPs.
 On time complete training curricula assigned in My-Learning or QMS training and provide the training to the staff where it is required.
 Develop OJT for the related functions assigned as per the job requirements.
 Adhering to the OOS procedure and documenting investigations as required.
 Involve in L2, L3 and L4 audits and give responses to auditors' during audits and CAPA.
 Identify any risk and escalate to the line manager, where applicable.
 Adhere to Safety, Quality and GPS standards and sustain the relevant QA & EHS KPI metrics to achieve Zero Accident, Zero Defect, Zero Waste and continues improvements
 Cleaning and sterilizing/ Disinfecting the working areas, equipments and tools.

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:
Diploma in Microbiology or bio technology
Good knowledge of GLP, GMP & EHS.
Computer Skills (Working on Word, Excel & Power point.
Good level of English language.
Written and verbal communication is an essential part of the role. Frequent communication is required within the factory at all levels and also with a number of other GSK sites
Personnel challenges
Time management skills.
Good analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Microbiology or bio technology
